RED WORDS WIN

In this age of social media and so called experts, it is hard to know the truth. There is an expert on his/her soap box demanding that we pay attention to them and their view point - then there are experts doing the same with the opposite point of view.

Even our information source has now come into question. Sources that once were thought to be above reproach are now coming into question for the accuracy of their reporting.

Who or what are we to believe?
There is only one true expert, his name is Jesus.

Many of us have at least one Bible that has the words of Jesus in Red.
RED Words Win. The one source of life giving information was accurate, is accurate and will always be accurate for every situation that you or I are going through. Jesus never said anything that He did not mean and never meant anything that He did not say.

Jesus was not misinformed He is the expert.

Let us look at some of what Jesus said.
John 10:10b (ampc)
'I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance ( to the full, till it overflows)'.

Jesus never said that this would happen if everything around you was perfect, in fact if you look at the first part of this verse, there is a whole bunch of stealing, killing and destroying going on.

Now, I have to state, this is the verse that I yelled out to God back in 2005 because nothing was working. I had grown up in church, I even qualified to become a deacon in a local Baptist church but had no life on the inside. This is when I told God either He showed me how this Christian life works or I was done.

This is when He started my journey with Red Words Win.

One scripture passage that still to this day I need to rest in the fact that Red Words Win is found in John 17:22-23
 (Remember this is Jesus speaking)
And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:
I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

Jesus said that He has given you and me the same glory that God gave Him. The SAME glory, Jesus did not say that He was so special that no one else was able to have the glory, He said He gave us the same. Then He said I in them and You in Me that they may be made perfect. (Perfect Jesus calls us perfect, He does not say you are a failure or a mistake He sees you perfect).

(Then the big one) You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.
God does not have one bad thought about you. Jesus loves you enough to go to the cross for you and God loves you so much that He sent Jesus down to earth for that.

The words that Jesus spoke win, there can not be any argument about it. I know this may sound too good to be true, but Red Words Win, Jesus loves you and so does our Heavenly Father, we are part of a Heavenly family and God is not holding any bad thoughts about you.

You may be asking, how does this lead to the abundant life? When we realize that we already are and not trying to achieve, we go from striving to be good enough and working for God, to resting in God and serving from that state of rest.
The abundant life is not about the possessions one has,  but the position one has. Knowing who you are in Christ and the position He has promoted you to takes all the pressure off you because it was all Him to begin with.

I hope that you are encouraged,   I hope you will take sometime this year and read the four gospels not from a religious mindset but to meditate on what Jesus is actually saying. Gods plan was and always will be for you to be a success. Remember no matter what is going on, what you are hearing around you,

  Red Words Win.
